Zaneta Kwiecin, Movement Specialist and Manual Therapist
Sport Rehabilitation, GSR, BSc (Hons), FAFS, FMR, CAFS, OMT
Zaneta has been working with clients and professional sports players for several years, including National Gibraltar Rugby and First League Football teams. Lately, she has also been overseeing triathletes with their injuries while also sharing a passion for the sport.
She has recently completed a Fellowship Of Applied Functional Science at the world-famous Gray Institute, in Michigan, USA. This has provided her with unique skills as a functional movement professional.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Rehabilitation from St Mary’s University (Twickenham, UK) in 2013 and was also studying Physiotherapy at the Sports Academy (Warsaw, Poland) in 2003.
Zaneta is passionate about movement and understanding the body in its functional context. Therefore, her treatment is focused on the origin of the problem. She treats patients as individuals, and by treating their whole body she assists them in reaching their personal goals. She provides patients with long term pain relief and dysfunction, rather than just treating the symptoms.
Furthermore, she has strong soft tissue therapy skills including Sports Massage, Trigger-point Therapy, Muscle Energy Techniques, Myofascial Release, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM), Kinesio and Myofascial Tapping and Medical Acupuncture.
She has a background in athletics including running, swimming, dancing and CrossFit. She is now permanently based in Guildford and trains to complete a triathlon next year.
